Our Wedding - Cocktail Hour

After our ceremony, Phil and I floated off to take photos while our guests were whisked away to cocktail hour. We had the most amazing tasting before the wedding with Tarte Catering and I only wish we could have seen all of the food we picked out on display during this time.

So thankful for photos that can give us a glimpse into what everyone else was able to see! I've included some of our favorite photos from this portion of our day below: Tarte Catering created the most beautiful and unique Mediterranean spread on one of the cocktail table. It included all different flavors of humus--red beet, garlic, even edamame.

I loved seeing so many of our DIY creations come to life throughout our wedding.  We spent months collecting and making things that would help to personalize our wedding.

Creating the photo montage (above) with doilies, hemp and close pins was one of my favorite projects because it ended up adding such a fun special touch to the cocktail party.

I loved the wish jar my sister made for us (above) where people could write us notes, our hand-written signs, memorial table full of framed photos of loved ones and everything in between.

Phil and I ran all over Los Angeles collecting vintage frames and props for a DIY photo booth.  It was so fun to look back and see all of the photos our friends posted with our hashtag, #arielleandphilwedding. Now we have a million vintage frames sitting in our apartment so please — if anyone needs them for any reason, do not hesitate to ask! ;)

We named our signature cocktails for the evening after our pups, Buddha and Winston.

Our talented artist friend Thank You X, created this beautiful sign-in board for us from one of our engagement photos.  We can't wait to frame it with all of the signatures of our guests as a fun wedding keepsake.

Our amazing florist, Jenn Sanchez created the most beautiful floral arrangements for us throughout our day.

For cocktail hour and beyond, we were inspired by soft spring colors with pops of brighter pink. Jenn created tons of different-sized arrangements all in vintage vases Phil and I collected around Los Angeles before the wedding. We had so much fun roaming the grounds of McCkormick Home Ranch with our wedding party during cocktail hour.

We truly loved every aspect of this amazing venue and feel we wouldn't have changed a thing about it. McCkormic Home Ranch a privately owned ranch in Camarillo, California full of orchards, gardens, barns and a beautiful front lawn for receptions. We felt like we were in a real fairytale.
