Over the past couple of months, I have fallen in love with painting fashion illustrations in watercolor.  Today, I decided to switch it up to post a prisma colored marker illustration instead.  The first medium I fell in love with for drawing fashion illustrations was prisma colored markers because the colors mix so well and really pop.  I find that drawing in marker comes easier to me than watercolor because there’s not as much room for error with dripping water, etc.  I also love how easy it is to convey texture with prisma markers because they are two-sided: there is a thicker marker-like side and a thinner pen-like side.  To top off my prisma illustrations, I love adding in extra detail using tiny Staedtler Pigment Liner Pens.
